"Chris and his crew leveled our lawn, completed a weed and feed, shaved back parts of lawn to level with sidewalk and spread compost over entire lawn. Reshaped, expanded and cleaned out all old landscape stone, dead bush stumps, transplanted three bushes, installed a metal edging along entire flower bed around house, placed new weed barrier, new landscape stone and sprayed to kill weeds growing in flower beds. They did grading around house as needed. Planted 4 bushes in front of porch and created/installed a mulch bed along driveway. Removed 4 shrubs in front yard by the road. Removed existing timber retaining wall and installed a new 48" long retaining wall made of wall block. A drain tile was installed behind retaining wall. They installed a 4' privacy fence along retaining wall and around the 13X22 paver patio they installed. They also removed 3 truck loads of debris."

Chris and his crew were very knowledgeable, offered suggestions, and very skilled in their work. His crew was extremely professional.The project took about 8 days to completed. The only problem we had was with "Mother Nature" who decided we needed some rain which ended up pushing our project back a week and a half. The end results were outstanding and many of our neighbors have complimented us on how it looks. A week after the project was completed we noted 2 patio stones were loose. I call Chris and two days later he came personally and repaired those two stones. He stands behind his work and promises satisfaction. We highly, highly recommend them."

"I am on the board of a home owners association in Mequon. We are in the third year of a 3 year contract with Oberndorfer. We put the contract out for bid three years ago and Oberndorfer was very competitive. This is the fourth contractor we have used in the last 20 years I have lived here. Oberndorfer is hands down the best company we have worked with. They mow large common grounds areas in the subdivision, trim bushes, trees and shrubs, fertalize and mulch berm areas. Chris, the owner is easy to work with, highly professional and very responsive. His crew shows up at promised intervals and does a great job. An over the top example.....last summer it had rained for days and the ground was too soft to bring equipment on to. By the time they could mow the grass was quite tall so there were clumps of grass in spots of the 3 acre common parcel when they finished. Remedy.... the crew walked the entire area with leaf blowers to break up and spread the clumps. The area looked great! Impressive attention to detail and customer service. I highly recommend Oberndorfer Landscape."

"I selected this firm after getting estimates from 4 firms. The project included grading the backyard across the back of the house, away from the house. The area needing to be addressed included a brick patio that needed to be removed and reset after the regrading was complete.. Given the low level of the back yard, they included 4 drain boxes to capture run off from my back yard/the neighbor's yard and route the water away from the house. Since the completion of the project, the frequency with which the sump pump runs had decreased. They seeded the yard where drain tubes were installed and placed small rocks around the drain boxes that reside in a perennial garden."

"Remove old concrete. Replace and redesign front entry patio and steps with pavers while taking care to restore landscaping and not scare away the hummingbird still visiting our feeder. The pavers involved a somewhat complex design that I needed help to design. Mike and his staff did help with the redesign and I am very pleased."
